The exhibition is held under the patronage of H. E. Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic and the auspices of H. E. Sun Jiazheng, Minister of Culture of the People's Republic of China.
A travelling exhibition of the singular series of works entitled Man and Earth, which was made by one of the most important representatives of twentieth century art – František Kupka – and is unique with respect to both scope and meaning.
First station: Czech Republic, 15 July to 6 23 August 2005 at Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář in Prague
Second station: China, 26 July to 7 23 August 2005, National Gallery of China, Beijing.

Third station: Cambodia, 11 March 2006, Royal Palace, Phnom Penh.
Fourth station: Thailand, 16 May to 18 June 2006, Queen’s Gallery, Bangkok. The exhibition is documented in director Martin Dostal’s film František Kupka – Man and Earth.
Fifth station: Czech Republic, 15 September to 16 October 2006, Opočno Chateau, Opočno.
Sixth station: Czech Republic, 22 September to 7 October 2006 at Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář in Prague; The exhibition was attended by His Royal Highness King Norodom Sihamoni, and Václav Havel.
Seventh station: Mongolia, 26 to 30 September 2006, National Gallery of Modern Art, Ulaanbaatar (in honour of the historical first visit of the Czech Republic’s president to Mongolia during the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the country’s establishment).
