Karel Srp: Karel Malich (ENG)
This monograph presents the unbelievably broad spectrum of Karel Malich's oeuvre, from the end of the 1950s to 2006, when the first edition was published. Through more than 450 reproductions on 456 pages, the publication presents Malich’s paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages, objects, wire sculptures, and prints, and also provides a glimpse into the artist’s studio and personal life.
The original edition from 2006 has just been reprinted in a new binding by Robert V. Novák to accompany the Malich exhibition held from 1 February to 8 May 2013 in the Prague Castle Riding School. The monograph was published in a print run of 1,000, where 200 copies are in English and 800 in Czech.
