The Brief Journey of Milan Mölzer

Mölzer’s  created his principal artworks in the 1970s in Germany, to where he emigrated with his family in 1968. This catalogue presents his main works, which were lent for the purpose of the exhibition mainly by Vera Röhm, who kept them, carefully documented them, and gradually expanded the collection. It introduces Mölzer’s cut paper structures, Amphibolin reliefs, and visual travel records, which were shown at twenty solo and group shows in Germany, France, and Italy.  Personal texts written by six of his friends and colleagues speak out about the atmosphere of the period in which Milan Mölzer stood out as an artist.

The catalogue was published to accompany the eponymous exhibition held from 6 September to 20 October 2012 at Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář in Prague.
