Zdeněk Sklenář: Ten Thousand Things – Ten Thousand Years
This extensive monographic catalogue, with accompanying texts by Ludmila Vachtová, Ivo Binder, Lucie Olivová, and Karel Srp, contains more than two hundred colour reproductions and about a hundred documentary photographs from Sklenář’s life. The publications also contain quotes from the works of Jiří Kolář, František Šmejkal, and Jaromír Pečírka, as well as from Zdeněk Sklenář’s book Remembering. The catalogue was published to accompany the eponymous exhibition held to commemorate of the 100th anniversary of painter Zdeněk Sklenář’s birth at the House at the Sign of the Stone Bell in Prague from 17 March to 6 June 2010.
