Mahulena Nešlehová: A Tribute to Bohumil Kubišta
Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář produced this special edition of the book Bohumil Kubišta – Graphic Works for the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové to accompany the exhibition A Tribute to Bohumil Kubišta, which was organised for the gallery's grand re-opening in November 2016 after it had undergone a complete renovation. The original monograph from 2014 was expanded to include a catalogue for the exhibition, which, in addition to Kubišta's prints, presented the artist’s associated drawings from the Hradec Králové gallery's collection, painting studies that originated during Kubišta's stay in Florence, and his 1909 painting Still Life with Blue Pitcher, supplemented with a sketch.
The book was published in a limited edition of ninety numbered copies.
