LAOZI – Oldřich Král’s New Czech Translation, Designed and Illustrated by Jan Merta
This leporello format book of Jan Merta’s paintings was published in conjunction with the celebration of Professor Oldřich Král’s eightieth birthday, and the launch of the bibliophile edition of his new translation of LAOZI: The Way and Its Power, which took place on 9 November 2010 at the official opening of the exhibition LAOZI – Oldřich Král’s New Czech Translation, Designed and Illustrated by Jan Merta, which was held from 10 to 27 November 2010 at Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář in Prague.
