Pavla Pečinková: Josef Čapek – Prints

This publication presenting the cumulative list of Josef Čapek's graphic works is the result of long years of research carried out by Jaroslav Slavík and Pavla Pečinková. It contains the first complete catalogue of all of the accessible original copies of Čapek’s prints, supplemented with brief commentaries and colour previews. The book includes a section containing full-page colour reproductions of selected works, an introductory essay by Pavla Pečinková, and a brief anthology of existing texts about Čapek’s graphic art (by Karel Čapek, Václav Nebeský, Karel Šourek a Jaroslav Slavík).
